I have begun my exploration of the southern slopes of BYU campus. It is a dense maze of trails, secret passageways, and treacherous foliage--coiled in wait--ready to pounce. For example, this harmless adolescent tree is just a coy decoy. Look harder and you will see the two older brothers just in the distance. You get too close, and before you know it you are hit with a deadly pine cone or falling limb...
